Why it had to change
Every order touched four disconnected systems and at least three people re-typing the same information. Mistakes surfaced late, usually on the shop floor, after material had already been issued. The team was not short of process; it was short of a single system that held the process.

How it went live
Rolled out module by module, starting with order management. Existing spreadsheets were imported, not retyped, and the old sheets stayed available read-only until the team stopped opening them. No production day was lost to the switchover.
