Who We Are

Ekalon Solutions is a Mumbai-based enterprise software and AI delivery firm. We build agentic AI systems for Indian MSMEs and Startups — jewellers, manufacturers, trading firms, and many others domains. We've delivered 50+ projects across 18+ clients.

Our model is deliberately lean: a Product/Solutions Lead, AI agents, and a small number of sharp engineers on every project — not bloated teams. We spend the first week on any engagement mapping how a business actually runs before writing a line of code, and we build fast because AI does the first draft of almost everything: code, documentation, tests, even parts of the analysis.

The Role

We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) — someone who can sit close to a real business problem (a jeweller's messy WhatsApp order history, a manufacturer's Excel-based inventory, a fund's fragmented broker data) and turn it into working software fast, using AI as a force multiplier rather than a crutch.

This isn't a "build what's in the ticket" role. You'll frequently be the one figuring out what should be built in the first place — sitting in on client conversations, reading unstructured data, and shipping a working prototype within days, not sprints.

What You'll Actually Do

• Build and ship full-stack features across our AI-native product engagements — FastAPI, React + Vite + TypeScript + Tailwind, MongoDB, RAG, LLMs, LangChain, APIs, Webhooks, Websockets, MCPs layers
• Use AI-native tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Grok, Antigravity, and similar) as your default way of writing software — not as autocomplete, but to plan, scaffold, test, and ship
• Take unstructured client inputs (WhatsApp exports, raw spreadsheets, verbal process walkthroughs) and turn them into structured data models and working modules
• Build agentic AI workflows — automated reordering, payment flagging, anomaly detection — that act with human approval in the loop
• Own features end-to-end: design the data model, build the API, wire up the frontend, deploy it, and iterate based on real client feedback
• Work directly with founders and clients, not just a PM — you'll need to ask good questions and push back when a request doesn't make sense
• Move fast on ambiguity: most weeks won't have a fully-specced backlog waiting for you
