One AI-native ERP and CRM for a B2B gold jewellery business
Payal Gold sells gold jewellery to retailers. We built an ERP and CRM that tracks every piece by weight and purity, every retailer by order history, and answers business questions in plain language.
What they were running on
- Orders taken on WhatsApp and phone, then re-typed into spreadsheets
- Stock tracked by design number instead of by weight and purity
- Retailer history spread across salespeople's phones
- Month-end numbers assembled by hand
Why it had to change
In B2B jewellery every order is a negotiation over design, weight, purity and rate, and the rate moves daily. Generic ERPs count units; a jeweller needs grams, karats and making charges on every line. Payal Gold needed one system that spoke that language and kept customer relationships with the business, not with individual phones.
The system, on their own server
Inventory by design, weight and purity, with live stock and making-charge logic
B2B order flow from enquiry to dispatch, with retailer-specific rates
CRM with full order history per retailer, follow-ups and design sharing on WhatsApp
AI assistant that answers questions like "which designs sold most to Gujarat retailers this quarter?"
How it went live
Built on CaratFlow, Ekalon's jewellery operations platform, and configured around Payal Gold's own design codes, retailers and rate rules. Existing masters were imported, not retyped.
